Kittens Sucking On Food?

So I have three 6 week old kittens, two have just started eating canned food the third one is close behind. But they have been sucking it more than eating it, they are eating it, but just sucking it like it's a bottle... Is it normal for them to do that???

In the beginnig it msy surely happen esp if wet food.

Main thing they are getting it in.

Yes, that’s why it should be soft, pate-style food, because their baby teeth are very small right now. They will get better at eating as they grow!
