Sometimes it's obvious, but other times it's confusing when they are tiny, as sometimes male testicles need to drop. I had a male kitten that I thought was female for about 6 weeks! [emoji]128522[/emoji]
This is what we've got so far (uploading the picture from my phone, so one not sure how well it'll work). Is there any way to tell if there will be any more?
Momma's resting up and the babies are nursing very well! How long should I wait to be sure that there's only three? Momma seems very relaxed, but she was just as relaxed in the hour between kitten 1 and kitten 2..
She hasn't! I'll go fix that right away. She lapped at some kmr between kittens 1 and 2, but I'm sure she'd love to have some now. Thank-you for the reminder!
Momma is asleep and all three babies are nursing or napping. I have some concerns about their weights though. I took their weight in grams and they each only weighed 6 g. I took them in ounces and they came out to be .4 oz, which is roughly 11 g (according to the internet, I have long since forgotten how to do conversion mathematics.) Could this be a problem with the scale I'm using? Or do I have a reason to be concerned for their safety?
