My 3 month old kitten sustained an eye injury playing with his 5 other litter mates. It seemed minor at first and after some googling I realized it was most likely a corneal ulcer. We took him in to the vet and my suspicions were confirmed. He had an ulcer. We were given an antibacterial eye cream to put in his bad eye twice a day, for ten days. We went on vacation and had a friend who is a vets assistant take care of him. He was worse by the time we came back and took him in to the vets once again. We were given the same eye cream to be given twice a day and lysine supplements to give him twice a day also. Since then, it has seemed the same. Lots of liquid drips from the eye and poor Kat never opens it. I have seen him open it once. He is very lethargic which is a major change because he used to be the most playful of all 6 kittens. You can tell he is in a lot of pain, but I feel helpless to reduce it. Is there anything I can do to help?
