Kitten Question.

Friend of mine is asking if the kitten he has is Persian. Says he thinks they are Persian mixes. I have an older Persian but I have no idea what kittens look lik. Thoughts?

The kitten is cute! Without papers, it would be a black (or blue, I can't tell from the photos) and white bicolor Domestic Shorthair. He could have some Persian influence; the kitten's head seems fairly flat, but this is impossible to prove short of a DNA test.

Most persian mixes that I have seen have snubbed noses that are much closer to their eyes. This kitten looks much different. Cute as can be though.

Possible. The ears are to the side like a Persians would be, eyes are roundish, not almond shaped like a 'regular' cat. I happen to have a purebred Persian pet who has a muzzle so it isn't impossible. I know she is pure purebred because she is full sister to the cat in my avatar (who is a show cat).
