Kitten Poop Habits

Recently my almost 4 month old kitten was pooping every day. Now it has been 24 hours since he has gone. Sorry new cat owner and now checking the litter box constantly.

Granted we have gone from free feeding to schedule feeding.

Just seeing if anyone else has had an experience with kittens of this age not going for 24 to 48 hours? Or should at 3 or 4 days should i be concerned?

I know every cat has differ pooping habits.

Forgot to mention fee him some wet food today and he still hasnt pooped.

My litter boxes are used 2x as much every other day. So, after 48 hrs you should expect something. Continue to keep an eye on it and watch him use the litter box

Try mixing a teaspoon of pure canned pumpkin into his wet food. This provides some fiber and should help him poo.
