I've had my kitten for almost two weeks now. She does have a cat tree which she uses, she also plays with her many many toys. When playing she is usually very gentle with her claws, I haven't had a new scratch since her third day.
If she is doing something that is naughty, she knows that when I snap my fingers she must stop. If it doesn't work, the spray bottle helps mediate. This has stopped such behavior as her climbing up people's legs.
However, sometimes the bottle isn't a threat.
I have this problem with my dreadlocks. She usually plays with them while I sleep, and the usual technique just isn't working.
I will also put her on the floor, but that doesn't stop her, as I'm sure you can imagine. I also don't have the option of putting her in another room, as I live in a bachelor's apartment.
Any suggestions?
