Hello all. We recently adopted 15 week old sister kittens . They both had upper respiratory infections when we got them and were treated. They also have been treated for fleas. Both have been tested for FEL and FIV and tests were negative. Last week, Rory had some green eye discharge so my hubby took her to the vet. She had another upper respiratory infection and also a small patch of ringworm. We were given eye drops and medicine for tHe ringworm. The next morning she didn't want to eat and would actually try to back away from her food dish. We took her to vet immediately and were given biomox to give her and she was given subcutaneous fluids as she was dehydrated. She also had a fever of 103. Later that day she started eating again and drinking too however still lethargic. This was Saturday. Today is Wednesday and she's still lethargic. She still begs for food when it's time to eat and follows me around like my shadow but won't play with her sister and sleeps most of the time. Hubby took her back to vet today and fever is still 103. She is up a tenth of an oz for weight and wasn't dehydrated. Vet gave her deworming treatment to be on the safe side. She also took X-rays which revealed a slightly cloudy spot in her belly however when she attempted to draw fluids out there wasn't any. She took blood and Rory is slightly anemic. She took more blood to send out to lab and we'll have results Friday. I of course am researching on the Internet and keep coming across FIP and am very concerned she may have this. Vet said it's possible but could also be other things as well. So just wanted to see if anyone had any similar experiences or any thoughts/ideas/feedback?? Waiting two days to get the blood work results is going to feel like forever. [emoji]128533[/emoji]
