Kitten Licking My Hair

Hi, I'm new to this site. But I have a question, my new 14 week old kitten likes to lick my hair! I don't know why... is this normal behavior? I'm really curious why he likes to lick my hair..

He's trying to groom you.

I duno if its just coincidence, but all of the cats ive had who either left their mothers early or were bottle fed like to do it.

Our cats would do that after we showered. They still live with the mom cat.

I agree the kitten is grooming you. Try putting a blanket over your shoulder for kitten to knead. Also you can buy a soft toothbrush and groom your kitten's head Your kitty is showing affection when he is grooming you.

I have a 1 year old cat who licks my beard when I sleep. Apparently it's a sign of great affection, so just roll with it if it doesn't bother you I guess.

My kitten also licks my hair. They are grooming you and you should accept that with the highest honor. At least i do because it doesnt bother me.

Or you can take it as your cat thinks youre dirty and youre not up to his standards..
