So it's Christmas time and my neighbors 2 houses down from me just moved out yesterday. They have this 3 month old kitten and a bunch of other cats and a dog. I hang out with them once in awhile and when I see the kitten it's usually laying there and looks sad or something. Well I find out that one of the neighbors abuses the kitten. I was worried so I went over there just to see the kitten and figure out what was going on, I walked in and the one of the roommates was in his room just beating on the poor kitten, and I mean seriously beating. Not to the point where it would die or anything close to it but I felt so bad. I ended up taking the kitten when they were in the living room and I took it home without them knowing.
Currently I have everything it needs, fresh water and kitten food, blankets and kitten bed for it because I decided im going to keep it.
Is there anything I can do to help it beside give it love. I know it will take time, but I'm looking for a few tips on things I could do right away beside taking it to the vet because everything looks fine and he isn't limping plus I'm a college student and I don't have the money right now to take it to the vet.
If you guys could help me on what to do that would be amazing, I know it's christmas but I wanna help him out tonight.
Thank you all for reading and helping
