Hey! Im new here- And I just had a funny but annoying thing happen.. I had gone on vacation for 2 weeks and came back and we had knats flying around.. Apparently our potatoes had gone bad while we were gone (apparently were on there way there before we left but we hadnt noticed and i forgot they were there- YUCK!) and so when we came back we had gnats. Well I bought lots of those FLy ribbon things with the really sticky stuff that will attract flys- And I also got a fly stick which is something u just leave out also with VERY sticky stuff on it (like a very strong GLUE) and i have had it out for about a week.. Well the cats never had a problem with it and never had tried to go near it.. Until this evening.. I went out to my car and came back in and my cat looked like he was soaked in water.. So I touched him and it was EXTREMELY sticky stuff.. Well I dont know how to get this stuff out! I used to work as a bather with a petstore-- with dogs- But never have run into this problem.. I dont have any kitten shampoo here-- So I used the next best thing- most gentle thing- and that was baby shampoo.. Well that didnt do a darn thing- So I used dish soap- the kind for greese-- Cause I remember hearing that helps sticky stuff.. Well nope that didnt do it either.. So does any one have any ideas about what i should do?? I need to do it tonight because I cant let him get on anything so hes in a kennel-- And I dont want him to stay in there.. So PLease someone HELP!! Some kind of at home remedy if possible!! THanks guys.. My poor kitty doesnt know what to do with himself!!
