I have a 9 month old desexed kitten that I've recently put a collar on. I have noticed difference in her behaviour like chalk and cheese. Collar on : affectionate, excessive purring, rubbing and following.
Collar of : mostly aloof.
Is this common or is she manipulating me to taking the collar of?

I've never heard of that.  But if she's affectionate and happy with the collar on, that's great.

Haha I actually noticed something similar in my male cat, but ultimately decided to keep it off because it seemed uncomfortable. I always wondered why it seemed he was nicer with a collar on though.
