kitten chewing wires

please help my kitten rudy is chewing my phone charger to pieces when i charge my phone and i’m worried it’s going to expand into other wires and i do not want to end up w a cat like in the movie national lampoons christmas vacation. i’ve tried hissing at him, saying no in a loud voice, removing him from the wire, distracting him w toys really anything i can think of. this is a bad habit i want to KNIX so any help would be great see down below little chewing monster

The fastest thing to do is probably order some bitter apple and rub it on the wires. However, for the long run, you might want to look into getting wire covers until he outgrows this. Don't want him to electrocute himself!

Those charger cords must be extra yummy, when I adopted my one cat she chewed up three within days. I ended up buying the rope cord wrapped cables instead, they also make hard plastic cord covers you can put over them, or a charging port that contains the cords better.

What is it about chargers? I have to tuck my phone and kindle chargers under something when my devices aren't plugged in or Neko-chan will chew on them. And she's almost 4!
