My 6 month old kitten keeps pulling apart things with her teeth. Her favorite thing is her purr pad. I am afraid she will choke on this fuzzy fabric, probably being silly, but not sure if they are still teething at 6 months. She also bite holes in anything in a paper bag. They have a ton of toys and other things to chew on but just like a kitten they want what they want when they want it - oh wait maybe that is just like their mommy. Is this normal behavior?

I'm not sure about how long a kitten teeths but I know that when I take in kittens that age they will shred anything and everything. I dare not leave a magazine on the floor, paper sack, newspaper it is fun to watch them with the magazine I just have to be sure they don't get any in the mouth. I would be concerned about the pad only because the baby could choke. But I think it is a natural thing the kitty will grow out of.
