Yep, another thread about Charlie.

He will not quit biting me on the chin. He goes in for a sweet nuzzle and then he bites. I have tried everything to get him to stop. I have scolded, I have hissed back, I have yelled, I have put him down immediately, I have gently swatted, I have blown in his face, I have left the room immediately after he has done it. Nothing makes him stop!

He isn't teething anymore. He acts like he's going to cuddle and then he just casually bites. I had a cat one time that gave me love bites, but this is completely different. I don't want him to make a habit of biting anyone, especially the older kitties in the house. Any suggestions?

How old is he? Sorry but yelling hitting and blowing in his face isn't going to help, it'll just make things worse...

He probably THINKS he's giving you love bites.

Since he hasn't learned yet, do not let him snuggle your chin area for now.

Hopefully he will outgrow this in time!

He is about 6 months old.

I'm seriously hoping it is a phase. Sometimes he snuggles against me without any biting but more often than not he chomps down hard.

Put something really awful on your chin. Aloe Vera smells good, but boy does it taste nasty. Since you've tried a lot of different things, and nothing works, what have you got to lose?
