Unexpected results. It seems that some lymph nodes showed as being unusual on the MRI. He now is scheduled for a different scan ( if Medicare will pay for it) to try to find out if it is cancerous or not. If they refuse his option is waiting a couple of months and having another MRI to see if there is any change. The doctor stressed the possibility that it could be nothing. If it is cancer that ends the hope of a liver transplant and the doctor said there is no cure.

I have not had a chance to reply. My heart is breaking for you. It is just too much all at once. I am hoping for the best - hopefully he can get a re-test and it will be OK.
