lol...that is sooooo sweet telling them I love you like that
I was thinking and I found that I don't say it to them in those words, but gosh they sure know it...i always give them baby talk like "whose a good little boy?"..."whose the best cat in the world?"...."whose a sweet girl"???...all while kissing their little noses and mouths..Blueberry wont stand for that too long, but Hobbs closes his eyes and takes in every kiss...he loves it! Cat faces are so lovable...so I guess even though I dont tell them, I think they sure do know it
Everyday when I get home from work & Harley meets me at the door, I pick up him and ask him if he had a good day and if he had any kitty parties while I was gone,
and then I proceed to tell him that I missed him so much while I was at work and that I loooovveeee him so much!
And then John asks me if I missed him at all, I say nope, just Harley
I tell Pepper and Pixie that I love them multiple times daily. Every morning before I leave for work I tell them that I love them, before they know it I'll be home again and good-bye.
I know, I know, I'm a total loon
But I love my furbabies so much, I'm always telling them how they are the sweetest girls ever, they are my babies, etc, etc, etc (usually in a baby voice at that)
not only do I make sure I tell them I love them, but I say very, very, very, very, very, very much. I feel like a dork too if bf hears me, so in the morning when he's still at home I whisper to them
Oh, yes. Constantly. Usually quantified "whole bunches!!!" or "so much it hurts!!" or something of the sort, accompanied by many kisses. I also ask them, "Does her love her Mum?" That usually gets me a headbutt, at least from Cindy.
I tell them I love them numerous times a day. When I leave in the morning I always say goodbye, tell them I love them and that I'll see them later. At night, before I go to bed they get treats, and while they're eating them, I lean over, give each of them a kiss and tell them I love you. Add those to the numerous other times I say it to them when I'm at home; these cats know they're loved!
I do, occasionally. I often give them scritches, and even kisses. Festie and my dd do nose kisses, where Lexa holds her face close to Festie, and Fest touches noses with her. They have been doing that since Festie was born. She won't give me nose kisses...but I know she loves me. And Gar gives headbonks, so I probably say I love you to him more often.
Jasmine is still shy, but I often wiggle my fingers in her direction, and say, Hello, baby! Sometimes I say, Mommy loves you, but mostly just try to let her know I am safe and won't harm her.
Yes I tell the boys all the time. I also tell them how big and handsome they are. It's probably a good thing they don't understand me or they'd have big heads.
I tell them several times a day. Ill tell them and then I say 'Mark do you know how much I love this cat?' and he says yes but I still always go on to say 'Do you love him/her?' the answer is always yes. He tells them all the time too. He calls Nismo his little baby girl, or his 'mouse in a cat suit' as she is so tiny. They know they are loved, just as we know they love us.
I also tell them 'stop!! its sore!' meaning stop being so cute and making me love you so much.
