My Dad is 88 years old. He has macular degeration in his eyes. He had a stroke last year. Because of the stroke effect, he can no longer drive, although he has no paralysis. The drs diagnosed him with cataracts in his eyes and now they want to do surgery. I wonder if anyone has had any experience with this surgery in a person as old as my dad. He still lives alone and can see well enough to dress, prepare himself some food and handle his personal needs. He can't see to read anymore. I am open to advice, opinions etc.
