It's been a little while--and I keep thinking of something and saying to myself that I'm going to post it here, but don't seem to get around to it (well, it's more like I forget)...
Wanted to share this picture. I took it last night, and the thing on the right of the picture is the space heater (the kitty worships it).
she's rawring!! (because doesn't she look like a vicious animal?!)
I've been doing a lot of art--so wanted to share what I did today (I've never shared a pic here). This one is just about done (I don't want to mess with it)
I'm making these flower drawings for a artists' market. I figured that everyone likes flowers (I need to sell them)..
And I'm hoping that one day it will rain in Southern California
And, as per suggested by a very important cat site member--I pressed tofu for several hours before cooking it. Yesterday, I cut it into pieces first before putting it into a pan with some olive oil, soy sauce, and agave. It was good. Today, I left the large pieces intact, and thought (not so brilliantly) to not stir it, but to leave it still before flipping it. Well--it's got no fat. So it burned. Burned is a flavor, though. Tomorrow, I'll try something else. Maybe press and then marinade. Who knows.
