Here is my big boy Tod. He showed up one day at our ranch about a year ago, and he became a fast friend to our barn cat. She was 18 years old, and couldn’t stand him but he followed her around anyway. After she passed away, we decided to bring him in and make him a house cat, as he has always had the disposition of being a people lover. He’s transitioned pretty beautifully, all things considered, and he’s honestly become like one of my children. (Don’t tell my kids I said that.)
I’m just curious about what kind of breeds he might be made of - if he’s anything other than just a domestic long hair. It doesn’t REALLY matter, I love him to bits and pieces no matter what. Just interested. 😉

he is a big boy. At his first vet appt, he weighed in at 10.6 lbs, and they guessed him to be around 2 years old, but will know more when they neuter based on testicular development.

He's a domestic red and white bicolor tabby, longhair clearly. He reminds me of one of our cats except ours was short haired.

Most cats are not mixed breeds at all. It's downright rare for a reputable breeder to be careless and allow unplanned matings to happen let alone with a completely different breed of cat. And then, top it off finding that cat randomly outside.

I don't see any specific resemblance to a particular breed but gosh, he's pretty darn handsome and sounds like he and you lucked out!

Very nice cat, and very good psyche. I understand more than well you are very fond of him, and see him as one of yours children.

He is as the others said, a domestic longhair. However a pretty boy. But if we look for some look alikeness? Im thinking on the Norwegian Forest cat. He is biggish, his muzzle is somewhat triangularish. He is even a bicolor; a very common pattern among Norwegians...
