I saw your other post; so sorry to hear that your Franny has gone. But I'm sure you did the right thing for her.
I am sorry to hear about Blade, Franny really hated it for the week I tried to get the food/meds into her mouth. And Monday when it just became to stressful thats when I said this is the last day I do this. I think it will be better to pts and hold her hand through this than let her die alone in the closet that is next to my bed. I just pray she will pass on her own today and I don't have to inject her. I just can't take this it's breaking my heart. She is not in pain, she is just shutting down.
On the plus side, we tried Blade on some chicken last night and he ate all of it (very quickly LOL) which means he got the Pred dose. And he's been eating on and off today But as he's a picky munchkin, we can't guarantee that he'll continue to eat it so he's going up to the vet later today for an injection. He's been much brighter again today though he's currently asleep on top of the snake tanks, where I can't reach - so I'm not sure how I will retrieve him to take him to the vet - I suspect more chicken might be involved!
