I just bid on and won a BABY SCALE on an online auction. Now what would a woman in her 60s be needing a baby scale for? To weigh her two overweight cats, of course!
Both of my furbabies are 14 pounds. Purdy should be about 10 pounds; Red Cat 10-11. Red Cat had been about 15 pounds, so he has lost almost a pound since I put him on a diet a month or six weeks ago. But Purdy hadn't been weighed since his physical a year ago, and that rascal has gained 2½ pounds in the last year! I just reached the conclusion that I was going to have to keep better track of their weight, and a trip to the vet is just too traumatic for them to go there just to be weighed every couple of weeks. So I added one more piece of expensive equipment for them. (They are worth it, of course!)
