My dogs and cats are plotting against me. Koko is usually the chief cat suspect - she jumps on the counter and knocks anything that I accidentally leave laying on it onto the floor where the puppies help themselves. I listen for weird chewing noises coming from the dogs and take away anything they may have. The other day it was a sharpie marker.
Just now, my husband comes in from walking the dogs and tells me to guess what he found the dogs playing with in the yard. He knew it wasn't the usual stick as it was too flexible and thought it might have been a kill from the ferals.
No kidding, it was a pair of my underware! Not Koko this time, Dakota is the little culprit who likes to go laundry digging and carry things around the house. Socks are his favorite but once in a while he drags out something a little bit more interesting.
So: Dakota goes upstairs, helps himself to some laundry, drags it down the stairs. Dogs see item, grab it carefully so we don't see it in their mouths and carry it outside where they proceed to play tug of war.
As my husband puts it, I don't think there's any elastic left on them there drawers of yours.
Gotta love them!!
