Boy, wish it had caught on. I was in the bathroom one morning getting ready for work. Lulu was my newest cat, had her at that time for

only about a month. Anyway I was looking in the mirror applying mascara and heard a splashing noise and to my surprise there was

Lulu going pee into the toilet. I thought wow, this will be a great thing here! But she never did it again (as far as I know)  I have heard

of cats being trained to do this. I had a neighbor who was upset because her cat would pee in the shower stall, I would actually

like that, just rinse it down, better than attending to it in a litter box.

She might be doing it when you're not around. We've caught Mogli using the toilet a couple of times when the lid wasn't down, but it's something we'd like to discourage because he sits in the toilet rather than perching on the seat.

My sister has a cat that always uses the toilet rather than a litter box, by choice rather than training. Her other two cats haven't followed suit.
