Hi everyone! It’s my second threat. I already red all the threats about limping syndrome and calici but there is something different our case.

My 3 months old kitten has calici. He has oral sores his tongue and denture. We got wet because he stop eating, sleep all the day and he stayed there 6 day because his situation is very bad. Now he at home and start eating also seems good but he can no longer run like he used to also. He can not use hind legs anymore like past:( we are using lysine and beta-glukan. I got him wet but he said there is not a problem in bones and muscles. What should I do? Any comments?

Poor kitty! :alright:

Most cats will spontaneously recover from lameness caused by FCV. I don't know of any other specific steps you can take at home to help your little one recover quicker. Since the limping is usually caused by inflammation just keep up the treatment and wait for the inflammation to go down. If your cat tolerates it I would think that maybe heated bed could help some.
