Is what color is my little "moggie"?

I have no idea what type of "colorpoint" this is, and was curious if anyone knows what color this is He was surrendered to a shelter with no papers because he was found stray, therefore I am assuming that he is not a purebred or anything close!  Assuming he is a moggie because he was found stray and rescued.

I think its called lynx point? If you google image search it the cats look like yours.

Yes! Thanks for your input. I am aware that he is a lynx point, but I was just curious of people's interpretations of his color! For instance, is he a blue point? Lilac? Brown? 

He is my first cat, so i'm sure you know how that is..... I'm a little obsessed and want to know everything about him

I'd lean toward blue or lilac. But not an expert at all. 

He's a beautiful cat for sure!
