My cat was spayed on Thursday, is this wound normal? Healthy? I have not slept and I am quite stressed and worried about taking care of her, I love her very much, but the vet is closed

It is awfully blurry to tell 100% but it will look a little red, puffy, and get a hard lump there even while healing which will take awhile. If you notice any warmth, smell, oozing, bleeding, this could all be infection which she will need to go back to the vet. I would put a cone on her if she isn't already wearing one.

I recently had my kitten spayed. I can’t see that incision very well, but I remember being worried about my cat’s, too, as it kind of puffed out, but research told me that that was just the stitches from the inside. It looked slightly red for a bit but it went away and is now healing nicely. As said above, consult your vet if you begin to notice other indicators of an unhealthy incision.

Its hard to tell from the photos. But i am a worry wart. If i have any questions or concerns its a vet check for us. And yes i have been several times where they say its fine, dont worry :) and thats ok. But sometimes when i have went there were major problems. So if questioning the site, never hurts to have the vet look.

It looks like a fresh spay. It's never a bad idea to consult a vet, however I bet in a day or so it will look better. When we adopted Ani our kitten from the shelter here she was let go without a cone a few hours after her spay. She jumped around and played and did everything a kitten does. ( Hard to contain her, shes a wild one) and through all of that it healed properly. The first day/ day and a half it always looks rough.
Again its never bad to consult a vet, good luck to you and kitty!
