DreamRaider  -  Awwww  .   Too bad.   I sure hope she will be adopted  by someone nice.

Cat Person --   Yes,  that is the thing. When I first found those Jungle Bob sites years go it was breeders who did not admit to using any Felis chaus.

I got you now
. Many breeders, still, don't admit to it today
.

they were saying like Bengal and Maine Coon and American Bobtail or something   not mentioning Jungle Cat.

Some of the breeders might have been honest and some might not have been. I know today, many of them are NOT as honest about the Felis chaus being used in there cats blood line. Given the laws in the USA, I sure do not blame the breeders. But, it is the pet owners, that do not "expect" the hybrid behaviors and then see them and then react poorly, is the part that I have an ISSUE with. Hopefully, that made sense. If not, I will gladly rephrase.

I thought something else might be going on.  but that was before I knew any Chausie breeders and i had never seen them.

I see

Re Pixiebob.  I am thinking of some i have seen in real life.  very hooded eyes prominent brow bone,   the eye kind of boomerang shape like SV .

Ahh, I got you now
. For whatever it is worth, my pure Leptailurus serval did not have noticeably "hooded eyes". But, I think it gives the Savannah, at least the early generation ones, a very "goofy look" in some cases
. But, that is just my opinion
.

lot of ticking on the spotted coat,,  heavy boning.

See, those sort of cats, sound very very attractive IMHO!

Actually....   I have heard that some Pixie Bob breeders also used Felis chaus.

I figured some did, glad to hear that some might have admitted it
. Just to the buyers I mean
.

here are some nice looking Pixie Bobs in France  ( but of course go back to U.S. lines).

Wow, those are VERY VERY nice
. Are those pure domestic breeds, used in those lines? If so, WOW!

i'm not saying they look  just like a bobcat!  but have some aspects.

I know and they look VERY nice
!

Those are some great looking cats!

I have seen one of these guys.  the picture did not really do him justice   http://coloradopixiebobs.com/id2.html

I would LOVE to see one of them in the "flesh" they look very nice. Does that line have any Felis chaus?

The males are sterile as f1,f2 and f3. Also f4 s may be sterile. About 80%of f5 are fertile and 90%f6.

The red doesn't show up in pics. Trust me.
That cat is a Jungle hybrid imo.
Especially is it doesn't meow, but bark or growl.
