Is My Male Cat's Neuter Incison Healing Properly?

My cat was neutered on Monday. He doesn't seem like he's in pain and there's no bleeding. I'm just a bit concerned that his neuter incision thing is so dark compared to his fur colors. Is this normal for light colored cats?

It looks bruised, which may be normal. My kitty is darker so I couldn't see much after his neuter. If you're concerned, you might see if you can email the pic to your vet or take the picture to the vet for them to let you know if that's normal.
