A couple of weeks ago I took in two kittens from the same litter -- a brother and sister named Pepper and Pickles. They were barn kittens and I have had them checked out by the vet and dewormed. Pickles was always smaller than her brother and the vet did point out that Pickles was a little on the small side.
I'm watching the kittens grow but while Pepper is filling out but Pickles is just so skinny. She doesn't seem to be a big eater and Pepper keeps gobbling up her leftovers while she is busy running around. She is the zany one of the two -- chasing her tale, jumping on furniture and wrestling with the kids' toys. She's happy and active but just seems so bony when I pet her.
I want to call the vet when they're open on Monday but I don't want to obsess or panic all weekend either.
