Hello, I have only just signed up and have no idea what I'm doing but I need help. I have two cats called Missy and Oreo and Missy is pregnant, but we don't know how far along and won't know until the end of the month. My problem is she won't eat her own food but she will go after Oreo's food constantly. But it's more in depth than that.
Missy tends to prefer fish flavors where as Oreo usually prefers meat flavors. We also give Missy a kitten food pouch at night but an adult pouch in the morning with a constant supply of kitten dry food.
So we thought it might be she prefers Oreo's flavors, so we swapped a meal; the pouch we would have gave Missy we gave to Oreo and Oreos to Missy and she still went after his bowl! The problem is Oreo stands to the side and lets her eat it, and we buy special kitten pouches for her that she won't touch.
Is it something to do with Missy's pregnancy?
We can't separate them they are always in close proximity and we can't change that until we get a new place. Please help!
