My male, neutered 5 year old kitty recently made a 1 year old female friend, who is not spayed. (She's his new roommate.) He actually got on top of her at one point and bit her on her scruff area, but he didn't spend too long there, and since she's continued to meow and wail in a different way he has been hanging out away from her and seems kind of afraid/confused. Could he be afraid of her? She does keep wailing at him and maybe he doesn't know what's up.

I am sure he finds the hormones confusing, and I am sure her discomfort is apparent. Do you plan to have her spayed?
