Is her incision normal after 7 days of her spay? (The brown ones are iodine)

She tried to lick her incision as it reached today (day 7) of her recovery.

The incision looks a bit irritated, but not open, to me. She's largely healed. Do consult your vet, but I don't think it's an emergency. I'd be more worried about the iodine you put on the incision.

Maybe your doctor can receive the picture and advise you about what to do. Ask if it's okay with them to send it. It may avoid a visit to the vet, which is probably to your kitty's liking.

Doesn’t look too bad. Avoid putting anything on the incision if you can as it will attract the cats attention to said incision and could result in licking (grooming).
