Since we got Oz last July, he's been very independant, sleeping away from us, and often in another room. We've been treated like a hotel. (but we don't mind one bit
)
He'd occasionally come to my lap, but for no more than a couple on minutes. But the past two evenings, he's come and slept on my lap for between half an hour to an hour.
It's amazing, I know my daughter always told me it could just take time, her two rescue cats have taken one to two years to start coming on her lap, but I couldn't imagine him being comfy with us.
The only thing now is that with him weighing 14lb my legs start aching 'cause I don't want to move in case it scares him away.
