Hello all! Any tips for introducing two younger cats? I've seen plenty on introducing two adult cats and adults to kittens..
I currently have a 7 month old boy kitty (Meeko) and I'm adopting a 8 month old girl kitty (Blu) this weekend.
Meeko was a barn kitty who I adopted about 4 months ago and he's been the only cat since, but he gets along very well with the ferrets my friend brings over for play dates and also once made a dog friend. He's not afraid of any human or animal he's come across... He's very much the "all I want to do is play with everything!!!" type.
Blu, the new kitty, has been around other cats for the past month or so. Her temperament is a little more docile than Meeko but she's still a playful kitten. .
There will be a special designated room for the new kitty so they can be separated for a time. However it's a small bathroom so I'm going to feel bad leaving her in there.
So! Any tips? Do "teenager" cats who are still in the play stage tend to get along easier than adult cats?
