Not sure if this is the right place for this and sorry if this has been asked several times before..
I have two cats at the moment, both are males, Utu is neutered and Kuura is a breeding stud. They are 1,5 year olds. Next week I'm going to visit a breeder to see a male who needs a new home, he is also a breeding stud and same age than my cats. My question is that do you have any experiences on how grown-up males (not fixed) get along and how you have introduced them to each other? Is there any hope..? I'm planning on getting a Feliway diffuser just in case and keeping the cats separated for some time before letting them get fully introduced. More tips?
My cats are very kind and Kuura is not that masculine (not territorial, marking, fighting etc.) and he's quite shy in new situations (except when the situation involves females in heat...
). Utu is the leader, he is usually very relaxed and I have never heard him hiss or growl. The breeder has told me that the male I'm going to see is also a bit shy, but loves people and does get a long with most cats. They all are British Short(and long)hairs.
