Because they’re both IMO threads, it could be because some new members might be trolls on the thread so that’s what they’re worried about? Things getting heated there is probably easy so permissions are different on those threads. Not saying that you would do anything like that, but it’s probably just a precaution.

Once you get a few more posts you’ll probably be fine. Then again I’m not sure but this is what I think.

IMO is open to posters with at least 50 posts and 15 days in membership, who are at least 18 years of age.
