Inedible Animal Food?

Anything going in or out of a rendering plant is marked inedible (I've seen the trucks). Since those are tankers, they probably contain rendered animal fat.

And, yeah, the more you know about the meat industry, the less you want to know! :eek:

I agree. I worked in a chicken processing plant for about a month almost 30 years ago, and have friends who work on egg farms and broiler farms.  I don't eat much chicken.

If you can stand it, watch the movie "Food, Inc."  It is not for the weak of stomach.

:lol3: I really don't think I could stand it...ignorance is bliss when it comes to that kinda stuff, ;). I am trying to spread the word about what really goes on in rendering plants to friends and families that have cats and dogs, and hopefully encouraged a grain free canned diet, or even better, a raw diet!
