A lady on my kitten waiting list has been reading my Facebook and has gotten interested in showing a kitten premier from my cattery. She has asked to go to some shows with me, and help her show her new kitten. We'll have to show TICA as she needs to stay local and there are no local CFA shows near us, but I am excited nonetheless. Of course, I have no confirmed pregnant cats right now, so this will be in the future.
Skylark was bred, but she tends to take a few tries to catch and DD won't be bred until around November, depending on her heat cycles.
It is a big step for me however, and I hope it goes well. I have explained to her that I am new to showing, and she doesn't expect me to be an expert.
Also, a veteran CFA member has contacted me to see if I'd be interested in sharing show travel expenses. I'm pretty happy because he has 20 years experience with Aby's and he will help me with grooming, showing and calculating points..
