I have only had one lovebird. I used to have a lovely male cockatiel . He didn't live in a cage. he had a huge stand in the livingroom. He was such a smarty pants. He had to say hello to everyone. If they didn't come over to him .he went to them and insisted on pets and saying hello. He never messed anywhere other than his stand. I want another bird ,Originally Posted by Leto86

Which is good.. you people would be having bird babes and not knowing what to do with them.
A lot of people think owning a bird is easy. Fresh food and water everyday. Simple.
But birds are smarter animals than people think they are. They need mind stimulating toys(also switched around every few days), they need to be let out to fly, they need a diet other than just seeds (pellets, fresh fruit and veggies, some grains and pastas are good too).
Lets just say that not just anyone will be getting one of these baby birds.

Baby4 died. I'm not sure from what, if one of the bigger chicks smothered him or if Mama did Im not sure. But he still had food in his crop so I can't imagine he was sick.
