at one pt Kandie was all canned .... it ran me about 35$ a month as most cans at that pt ( about 3-4 yrs ago ) were 65-85 cents for a 5.5 and she ate 1-2 cans per day
Tonka (my Blue Point Stud Boy) eats only wet food and it costs me about $2.00 a day ... he eats Organics by Nature in the pouches and has one in the AM and another in the PM. My other three (Lexus, Pearl and George) eat a mixture of both wet (mostly wet) and dry food ... they eat Fancy Feast Elegant Medleys - one can divided between the three of them three times a day - (because that is the only thing that Lexus doesn't toss up onto my oriental carpet) and about a third of a cup of the Organics by Nature Adult dry per day, left out for them to free feed.
I'd say I spend $60 to $75/month for 2 cats on wet food. I'm trying to feed just Wellness grain free but it is $$ so I'm also using some Dr. Foster & Smith which is reasonable right now (case of 24 for $12ish).
