DH was the same way. He'd hit Target, WM, K Mart, Big Lots, Michael's.... you name it. I have so much stuff..

Halloween, full-blown! And a spooky scene in the front yard where something would really come to life when trick-or-treaters got too close. A human appearing to be a very ordinary scarecrow suddenly springing up with a roar always does nicely.

That is very similar to how my place usually looks during the Fall. This year, I just did not get into it.. very surprising for me.. I finally put up my front door decoration ~~

Christmas here. Since I work retail I get tired of any holiday LONG before its time! For example, right now I am ordering for Christmas and Christmas time I will be ordering for Valentines day. I really only decorate for Christmas now, and not as much as I used to. Now we have the tree and little else (except the stockings on the mantle), but a few years ago I had decorations in every room and even had 2 trees one year!
