A lot of cats look a like, especially tabbies and black cats. Let's say your cat was taken by someone else, and you needed to prove that cat is yours. No photos, collars or chips.

What is physical about your cat that you can identify to prove she's yours? Something only you would know about?

For example: Monet has 3-4 strands of white fur at the tip of his black tail. You can't see it unless you look for it. He's a classic tuxedo cat and a lot of tuxedos look alike.

...with the cats...
my snick has one claw, her dew claw on one front paw, that grows extra thick. and she has developed a 'lowered wrist' on one front arm that causes her to look like she's limping -- vet says this happens sometimes after cats have lived many years jumping down from things, it's not something that can be treated (at least in snick's case).

jasper......i'd have to say that it's his black fur -- he's a tuxedo. his black fur is actually dark brown, which you can only see in certain light.
