Ideas of how to clean farm smell out of cat?

I recently adopted another kitty, a male who came from a farm.  He still has this "farmy" smell about him and I would like to avoid bathing him if possible as I don't want to traumatize him if I don't have to.  I have brushed and furminated him but the smell lingers.  Is there a safe way to dry bathe a cat?  thanks

I've no idea if this would work, but you could try rubbing him down with unsecnted baby wipes. I've just been on amazon. If you go into 'pet supplies' and search for 'waterless cat shampoo' a ton of cat specific products turn up.

I agree with @Columbine  - I'd use a cat safe waterless shampoo. Since he tolerates being brushed, he should be OK with it.

Here's an example of one
