I could just imagine the sweet looks on their faces while they casually lounge on the bed, or at least how the cats I know would look. Bad kitties!
Oh Tess.....everything that I spray bitter apple on Legolas licks, he loves the stuff! As for the plants the only interest they have for them is to eat the leaves but they aren't toxic plants but my plants look so sad now.Originally posted by tuxedokitties
Don't hold your breath.
Sylvestra & Mr. Underfoot, the paper towel shredders, are almost 10 years old.
With a little experience, you learn to spot opportunities for kitty mischief and pre-empt them. Keep the bathroom door closed, spray bitter apple on the plants, put rocks over the soil in houseplants, close up objects of interest in pantries, etc. Providing lots of toy distractions helps too.
Yeah Em does that too. I had to stop putting anything in little bathroom grabage pail. Everything goes in the kitchen garbage with the cover. But he's always on his hind legs trying to get into it.Originally posted by TTMom
Oh, and this is kind of gross, but Tailer likes to pull used tissues or feminine things out of the trash and rip them apart and spread them all over the house. I've never had a cat like that. I tried trash cans with lids, then trash cans with snap on lids, then putting the trash can inside the cupboard. Yes, I needed child proof locks on my cupboards. Darn cat was able to get into things I had troubles getting into!
