I could see myself sitting there with a bottle of red wine on a balmy evening.

Gartenzwerge - wie in Deutschland, LOL! I envy you your porch - it looks terrific. I grew up in a house with a huge porch out front, and really miss it. A balcony just isn't the same thing.
Heidi, Thinking about your tree..might be a Rose of Sharon. They can be either shrubs or trees. They are members of the hibiscus family, and usually attract a lot of small insects, like beetles and bees. Snip off a bloom and leaf and bring it to your garden center, since I'm not sure. It is just lovely though!Originally Posted by PurrfectCatlove

Mike also build a roof over the front porch for us and it really give us a lot of shade when it is really hot and also keep us try when it rains. In the front of the porch we have a flower bed , me being German I do love my flowers every year. I also have a little tree I have been given from a friend a couple of years ago , when it was still very small and now it has grown a lot . I some pics you really can see it bloom in the spring time . I hope you enjoy my little tour of my front porch .
