So, I had some loyalty points w/ 1-800 Pet Meds from Angels Heart Guard, so I decided to put them toward some calming treats, in hopes to get them before the 4th. We already had fireworks going off at the stadium a couple of houses down on the 1st & 2nd. (I think there must have been a game going on). Angel runs under the bed & stays there a while after.
Anyway, I got them yesterday, & gave him one last night around 9:00, just in case. He seemed fine last night. Turned out there weren't any fireworks last night. This morning, he threw up outside of the litter box, while he was in it trying to poop. He got out, & walked away. (w/ only a couple of small ones in there). I got it all cleaned up, & he came back, did a regular big poop, & by time he got to the next room, he threw up again, but it was only a little. This time only liquid, no food, & was a little orangy/brown, so maybe the ginger in the treat??? I don't know, seems like it wouldn't upset his tummy. Could it have been because of the treat, when I gave it to him over 12 hours before? (this all happened about 9:45 this morning). He also woke me up at 6:15 this morning passing a small hairball. After that, I could hear his tummy growling, so I went ahead & fed him breakfast, even though it was a little over an hour early.
I pasted the ingredients below, to share.
Anyone have experience w/ these treats? Opinions??
Thanks!
