Older 3 get fixed next week and somebody's coming tonight to meet Cheeto and hopefully pick her as her baby.
Little 4 are doing great! Thunder's all better and we're all eating mostly canned food and have nibbled on dry food too. Ivy's the only one without a home and we might be able to talk my aunt into keeping her (the one who found this group)
And today after getting home from work a few minutes ago I went into the back to see if we still had our pregnant stray (we were going to go catch her this week) and I saw her behind the dog house and a reflection in the door of a kitten! She was finally ran off after scaring the hell out of us and not just 1 kitten but 4!!!! All eyes are open with droopy ears so we're estimating around 10 days (sad thing is a week ago from this past Saturday I heard mewing and just pushed it off. Guess I was right thinking I heard kittens in the neighbor's yard!) We decided to take them in because we were going to have to catch them eventually to get them fixed, she'd hide them again until they were too old to be caught, and two of them have one eye glued shut (eye infections again! Good thing we have all that eye ointment)
So now we need to stimulate kittens once again and back to buying more KMR!!!
Pictures coming up of the new ones later tonight. They're as big as our now middle aged 4 and they're 3 weeks younger than those guys!!!
We now have another black and white female, another diluted tortie female, a black boy (Salem), and a black girl (Sabrina)
Now at least if we catch the mom for the TNR program, we won't have to worry about finding the babies since she can't nurse them for a day while getting surgery!
Seems like every time we get kittens self sufficient, we get more needy ones!
