My cats Mum is a Ragdoll Looks just like her but I don’t know what her dad could be as her Mum is an outside cat that got pregnant and I don’t know if my cat looks like a Ragdoll as she’s only 10 moths

She does resemble a ragdoll she kind of looks like she could have some characteristics of a domestic short haired tabby cat. She sure is beautiful i have always wanted a ragdoll cat they are so beautiful and loveable. There are many different colors for ragdolls but her colors are what they call tabby colors they say you van tell by the M shape on her head and the swirls she has on her body. If your really wanting to know you can get a DNA test done at your vets office not sure how much it costs. If she gets really big. And fast then she prob is ragdoll

Thanks you so much she also dose not resemble the personality of a Ragdoll as ive heard they are verry friendly this may be due to lack of socialisation before we got her but she dose like to follow us around the house but she has a verry bi polar personality where she’ll be all sweet and loving when she’s dozing off to sleep but any other time she will scratch bite and hiss when you try to stroke her or pick her up although like I’ve read she’s verry vocal like rag dolls are so this is why i was confused as well

With you not knowing what kind the dad is its hard to tell the whole breed with ragdolls they are very sweet and kind but she also looks like she could be maine coon and whatever the dad is. How old is she? As far as her having cattitude sometimes it can be the surroundings cats are in sometimes it can be another animal that makes them upset or if they are feeling stressed out. Try giving her a specific spot to call her own like a cat tower or a place up high where she can be herself. Do you have other animals inside or outside your home? My fur kitty use to do the same thing and i investigated my home to see what could be making him so uncomfortable and come to find out he could see other cats around my house and it was stressing him out.

We have a boxer and a Pomeranian but the Pomeranian is a bit nervous of her so can get agitated although he will ignore her he can give a warning growl when she gets too close I think this maybe upsetting her as he won’t be friends with her on the other hand our boxer loves her to pieces and will cuddle up with her she’s 10 months she mainly has full run of the house and the dogs sleep in the kitchen so she mainly has plenty of space from them but the cat tower is a fab idea thanks
