Today I brought a beautiful 9 week old Tabby, named Oscar home to live with me. He seems to be very good natured and playful. I had to go out for an hour so I left him in the room where he will be sleeping with fresh water, food, his bed and litter tray. He hated being alone and was meowing and crying.
I am just concerned as I have to work on Monday and he will be alone then. Does anyone have any advice on how to make this easier for him? Unfortunately its not an option to get a play mate for him.
Even when I am in the room he wants to be beside me.
I adore him already and just hate the idea of him being upset, I have someone who can come in to check on him on Tues and Wed but not Monday, I know this is something he will probably grow out of but its just quite stressful to listen to now.
Any advice will be gratefully received.
