Eddie, but everything was already crumbling... just at a very slow rate. The stress of your job has been affecting your health, and your health is the most important asset you have. Unfortunately, our society praises workaholism. You're doing the right thing.Originally Posted by sashacat421

I have been sick as a dog this week, I've had health issues crop up that I've never had before due to the stress and 3 hr commute. I just placed all my faith in the iron will I have to move forward and find a win-win. When you feel it so much, you will make the changes you need. Notice how whenever we have big changes, we all come here??
It was difficult for me to take this leave of absence, but I also had to take care of myself, because I know nobody else is looking out for my best interests. Getting sick every week with flu like symptoms due to stress doesn't help anyone.
I wish you all the best and I'm praying that you get this new position.
